Welcome to the world

So March is about to end and it has been a great month to me and people close to me. I would love to take this opportunity to congratulate these Young Parents on the arrival of their bundles of Joy.

My brother Azza and his lovely wife Neema welcomed their sweet lovely baby. Aunt loves you loads

And my friend Samuel and his wife Netty who welcomed their baby boy.

Mungu awape hekima ya jinsi ya kuwalea ili waweze kufikia the maximum potential God has planned for them. May the little ones grow in the knowledge and fear of the Lord.


March is also my moms Birthday month and I would love to wish her many happy years ahead. You are the best mom and grandmom in the world, we are very lucky to have you in our lives. Kisses nyingiiiii

Pregnancy DO and DON'T

Hello dear readers,

It is a lovely day and so I would like to finalize the DOs before I go to the DON'Ts

6.     Get moving! Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, physical activity is good for you and your baby.

7.     Get enough sleep. Aim for 7 to 9 hours every night. Resting on your left side helps blood flow to you and your baby and prevents swelling. Using pillows between your legs and under your belly will help you get comfortable.

8.     Set limits. If you can, control the stress in your life and set limits. Don’t be afraid to say “no” to requests for your time and energy. Ask for help from others. 

9.     Make sure health problems are treated and kept under control. If you have diabetes, control your blood sugar levels. If you have high blood pressure, monitor it closely.

10.    Ask your doctor before stopping any medicines you take or taking any new medicines. Prescription, over-the counter, and herbal medicine all can harm your baby.

11.     Always wear a seat belt. The lap strap should go under your belly, across your hips. The shoulder strap should go between your breasts and to the side of your belly.

12. Talk to your baby, make connection with him or her.Sing songs

Pregnancy DOs and DON'Ts

Naaminini wewe ni mzima kabisa. Leo ningependa kusema kuhusu kipindi cha muhimu kabisa katika maisha ya mwanamke. Kipindi cha ujauzito.

Watu wengi huwa tunadhani malezi ya mtoto yanaanza baada ya mtoto kuzaliwa ila si kweli, malezi ya mtoto yanaanza mtoto anapokuwa tumboni na hivyo ni muhimu kujua ni lipi la kufanya na lipi kutofanya na hapa nitaongelea wajibu wa mama na baba.


DO
  1. See your doctor regularly. Prenatal care can help keep you and your baby healthy and spot problems if they occur. 
  2. Continue taking folic acid throughout your pregnancy.  Getting enough folic acid lowers the risk of some birth defects. Taking a vitamin with folic acid will help you to be sure you are getting enough. Image result for pregnancy dos
  3.  Eat a variety of healthy foods. Include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, calcium rich foods, lean meats (Chiken and fish), and a variety of cooked seafood. Image result for pregnancy dos
  4.  Get all essential nutrients, including iron, every day. Getting enough iron prevents anemia, which is linked to preterm birth and low-birth weight babies. Ask your doctor about taking a daily prenatal vitamin or iron supplement.

Part 3: Healthy living: Mabadiliko wa mfumo wa maisha

Hello my lovely readers.....

I have been very busy but I am healthy and I thank God. Hii ni part ya mwisho ya maamuzi ya kubadili lifestyle.

Leo ningependa kuzungumzia hatua za kufuata ili uweze kuishi maisha yenye afya bora.

Si mtu mnene tu anayepaswa kuishi maisha yenye afya, ni wajibu wa kila mmoja. Kuna watu wembamba wanaokula chips na junky food siku nzima, ingawa hujanenepa afya yako si bora. Ukifuata kanuni za ulaji bora wa chakula hata mwili wenyewe utaanza kupungua kama umnene.

Hatua za kufuata:

1. Acha kula vyakula vyenye mafuta mengi. Mafuta ni mazuri kwa afya ila mafuta mengi na mafuta yaliyokuwa refined sana si mazuri kabisa. Hii inamaanisha punguza kukaanga vyakula, badala yake choma, chemsha au pika kwa mvuke.

2. Punguza au acha kabisa kula "processed food" hii sijui kiswahili chake ila vyakula vya viwandani na vya makopo si vizuri sana maana havina virutubisha vyote na vimeongezwa kemikali ambazo si nzuri. Pika vyakula mwenyewe na kula vyakula ambavyo havijakobolewa.

3. Ongeza ukijani na rangi mabali mbali katika mlo. Wanasema kizungu, "Make your meal more colorful". Kula mboga mboga na proteins na punguza wanga. Ongeza pia mlo wa matunda. Matunda yana sukari asili na hivyo ni nzuri kwa afya kuliko sukari ya kiwandani.

4. Fanya mazoezi. Mazoezi yapo ya aina nyingi, wanasema ukitembea lisaa 1 kwa wiki ni nzuri kuchangamsha mwili. Fanya kazi za nyumbani cheza na mtoto, fanya kitu...usikae tu.

5. Kunywa maji. Wote tunajua umuhimu wa maji mwilini. Kunywa maji yasipungue lita 2 kwa siku. Hii itasaidia kuondoa hamu ya vinywaji visivyo na afya kama soda, bia na juice za viwandani.

6. La mwisho pata muda wa kutosha wa kupumzika. Lala kwa angalau masaa 8. Usingizi ni muhimu sana, hakikisha unapumzika na mchana uwe na muda wa kurelax ukisoma kitabu au kutulia tu.

Ukifuata kanuni hizi chache itakuwa mwanzo wa maisha ya afya bora na kupunguza uzito na magonjwa yasiyo na lazima.

Part 2: Healthy living: Mabadiliko ya mfumo wa maisha

Hello hello,

I hope you are all well. Leo I am in my finest spirit and I am so happy I wish you could see me right now. Uwiii I thank God for another day to have you as my reader.

Karibu tuendelee na Healthy Living.

Ngoja nikwambie siri ya kuamua kubadilika...I am a work in progress so kuna siku hii list itazidi.

1. Change is HARD.
Image result for losing weight is hardDont be fooled, kubadili mfumo wa maisha in any way is not easy sasa kwenye maswala ya msosi inakuwa ngumu zaidi. Unhealthy food is tasty and addictive, healthy food is so not tasty. Sleeping and watching TV is so nice, exercises are painful. There are a lot of stories of how people struggled on You Tube, what they all have in common is the fact that the journey was so difficult to do but they DID it.

2. Get MOTIVATED

It can be as simple as fitting in a wedding dress or as important as the only option for your existence what ever it is, keep it, it will be so important through the journey.

Ask yourself, "What is my motivation?"


3. Find your INSPIRATION
For the purpose of the topic, Inspiration kwangu ni kama role model a person you are looking at for inspiration. Watu hawa ni muhimu sana, anaweza kuwa mtu usiyemfahamu kabisa lakini mwenye story ambayo inafanana na wewe na ukajiona unaweza kuwa kama yeye, inaweza kuwa mtu unayemfahamu kabisa.

Mimi nilipata wadada kadhaa kwenye blogs siwafahamu ila wamekuwa inspiration. Maza wa Maznat Bridal, Shamim wa 8020 fashions, Dotty Kipeja wa OMGift, Lavidoz wa Lavidos Style na Dina Marios. Wafuate kwenye Instagram na mitandao na utaenjoy

4. You can't do it ALONE
Image result for healthy living"To go faster go alone, to go further go together", simjui mtunzi wa huu msemo ila kasema kweli tupu. To get far in this quest you need people. Kwanini? Unakumbuka 1 nimesema its HARD, unahitaji watu wa

  • kukutia moyo, 
  • kuwa accountable kwao
  • Na unaoweza kushare frustartion zako nao. 
Hii itakusaidia sana hata kama hamko eneo moja.. Kwenye programs nyingi za fitness kuna Communities na hizi zimekuwa msaada mkubwa sana kwa watu kufikia malengo.

Mimi nilipata bahati ya kujiunga na group ya Dina Marios Health group ya Whatsapp na imekuwa msaada sana. Hata hao wadada niliowataja hapo juu wao pia wanaumoja wao.

Healthy Living: Mabadiliko ya mfumo wa maisha.

Habari.....

Kuna wakati nilikuwa kimya kidogo na niliahidi kuwa nitasema kwanini.

 Kwa muda sasa nimekuwa nikisoma blogs na kufuatilia watu kadhaa katika mitandao na jambo ambalo ni trending now ni Healthy Living.

Kwa ufupi ni kuwa watu wameamua kuishi maisha yaliyobadilika na kuwa ya afya njema zaidi. Watu wameamua kubadili mfumo wa maisha kabisa na wanaishi kwa furaha zaidi.

January mwaka huu nilihamia Mwanza na baada ya muda mfupi nilianza kuexperience maumivu ya goti yasiyo ya kawaida. Nilikuwa nashindwa kuchuchumaa, kwa kweli nilikosa raha. Niliamua kupima uzito maana nilihisi hiyo shida ni kutokana na uzito mkubwa. Baada ya kupata majibu ya uzito yalinishtuka sana na niliamua kucheck BMI, Body Mass Index, kipimo hiki kinapima ratio ya urefu na uzito na majibu yalikuwa kuwa mimi ni OBESE, yaani ni mzito kupindukia na niko katika hatari ya kupata magonjwa
kama ya sukari, presha na moyo. Siku hiyo nilirudi nyumbani nikamwambia mdogo wangu kuwa sitakula chakula tena.

Siku iliyofuata nilianza kutafuta diet mitandaoni na niliwaambia watu ofisini kuwa nataka kuloose weight. Waliniambia sitaweza na nisihangaike. Nilifanya maamuzi magumu na nikaanza diet mwezi mmoja na wiki moja iliyopita.

Mpaka sasa nimeshapunguza kilo 7 na mapambano yanaendelea. Wengine wanaweza kuona kuwa kilo hizi ni kidogo sana kwa kipindi hichi ila kwa kweli I am so proud of me.
